Wellbeing, Coaching & Flourishing
From coping with life to flourishing in it
One-to-one coaching, group circles, school programmes and retreats, all grounded in Purna: the belief that you are already whole.
Purna. You are already whole.
At the heart of my work is Purna, a Sanskrit concept that speaks to wholeness and completeness.
You are not broken, you do not need fixing, and you already carry within you many of the resources you need to navigate life.
My role is not to tell people who they should become. It is to create spaces where they can pause, understand themselves more deeply, reconnect with their strengths, develop resilience and discover their own ways forward.
Whether I am working one-to-one, with parents, students, educators, women, older adults or whole communities, the intention remains the same: to help people move from simply coping with life to developing the awareness, resources and connection that allow them to flourish.

You are not broken. You do not need fixing.
Wellbeing is not about becoming a different person. It is about coming home to yourself, with greater awareness, understanding, self-trust and agency. I bring the research and the tools. You bring your lived experience.

Flourishing
Pause
Create space to slow down, notice and become present.
Before we change anything, we pause. We notice our thoughts, emotions, patterns, body and surroundings, without immediately judging or trying to fix them.
Tools may include: Mindfulness, breath and body awareness, reflective practices and grounding.
Understand
Make sense of what is happening within you.
We explore thoughts, beliefs, assumptions, emotions, behaviours and the stories we may have been carrying. Sometimes, a shift in perspective can change the choices we can see.
Tools may include: CBT-informed questioning, psychoeducation, neuroscience-informed understanding and reflective inquiry.
Resilience
Discover your capacity to respond, adapt and move forward.
Resilience is not about becoming unaffected by life's difficulties. It is about recognising the resources, within yourself and around you, that can help you meet them.
Tools may include: Strengths exploration, character strengths, Positive Psychology practices, problem-solving, goal-setting and resource-building.
Nurturing
Nurture what helps you live well.
We explore the conditions that allow you to feel supported and connected, including self-compassion, relationships, values, boundaries, rest, meaning and belonging.
Tools may include: Self-compassion practices, strengths-based reflection, mindfulness, values exploration and connection-building.
Agency
Move from awareness to choice.
Agency is the growing sense that you can participate in shaping your life. It does not mean controlling everything that happens. It means becoming more aware of your choices, your resources, your values and the actions available to you, even when circumstances are difficult.
Our work together: The aim is not for me to tell you what to do, but to help you develop the clarity, confidence and self-trust to make choices aligned with who you are.
And from there, towards flourishing.
Flourishing is not a destination or a perfect state of being. It is the ongoing process of living with greater awareness, connection, meaning, resilience and possibility. PURNA is my way of bringing the science, the tools and the human experience together.
Nine ways to work together.
Different people, different needs, one intention: creating the space to understand yourself, reconnect with your resources and move forward.

What the work is grounded in
Across individual coaching, groups, schools, communities and retreats, my work draws on six evidence-informed foundations.
Applied Positive Psychology
Exploring strengths, meaning, relationships, positive emotions, accomplishment and the conditions that help people flourish.
CBT-Informed Coaching
Understanding the relationship between thoughts, emotions and behaviours and exploring more flexible and helpful ways of responding.
Neuroscience
Understanding how stress, habits, emotions, attention and the nervous system influence the way we experience and respond to life.
Mindfulness
Creating the ability to pause, notice and respond with greater awareness.
Self-Compassion
Learning to meet ourselves with kindness and understanding, particularly when life is difficult.
Strengths-Based Practice
Building from what is already working and helping people recognise and intentionally use their strengths.
The thread that connects it all
People are not projects to be fixed.
Although these offerings serve different people and different needs, they all come from the same place: Purna. They are human beings with stories, strengths, relationships, challenges, values and enormous capacity for growth. My work is therefore not only about reducing what is difficult. It is also about discovering:
- What is already here?
- What can be strengthened?
- What can be understood differently?
- What can be nurtured?
- What matters now?
And: what might become possible when we trust our own resourcefulness?
From coping to flourishing
My work is not about promising a life without stress, uncertainty or difficult experiences. Those are part of being human. It is about helping people develop the awareness, understanding, strengths, connection and practices that allow them to navigate those experiences differently.
We cannot always change the waves. But we can learn how to meet them.
Sometimes the most meaningful transformation begins not by asking “What's wrong with me?” but by asking “What is already within me, and how can I nurture it?”
This is Purna. This is flourishing. This is Connect Anika.
