Every child is different. Every parent is different. Every family is different.
And every stage of childhood asks something different of us.
After working in school settings for over 10 years, I have seen again and again that what works for one child may not work for another.

Parent Wellbeing coaching creates a space for parents to explore the challenges they are experiencing with their children — particularly during the teenage years.
We may explore:
- Communication and connection
- Challenging behaviour
- Teenagers becoming more independent
- Boundaries
- Parent stress and emotional load
- Self-doubt and parenting guilt
- Understanding what may sit beneath behaviour
- Strengths and positive parenting
- Connection before correction
- Supporting children's emotional Wellbeing
A central part of the work is examining our own mental models about parenting and children.
Sometimes the question isn't simply:
“How do I change my child's behaviour?”
It may be:
“What am I seeing? What might my child be experiencing? And could I respond differently?”
Using Positive Education, strengths-based approaches, neuroscience, mindfulness and evidence-informed parenting principles, we work towards greater understanding and connection.
Because before we change the behaviour, we can pause and understand the child.
And sometimes, before we change the child, we need to change the way we see the child.
